Officials at Florida United Lacrosse, Triple Crown Sports announce partnership

Triple Crown Sports, a longtime leader in producing impactful youth events from coast to coast, announced today a partnership with Florida United Lacrosse that is designed to help both organizations expand the reach of the sport and better meet the needs of players and coaches in both the youth and collegiate arenas.

Florida United Lacrosse runs a trusted series of events in the summer and fall, providing boys and girls teams from 10u on up with the competitive challenge required to grow in the sport. Multiple events have become standard stops on the calendar for college coaches looking to fortify their rosters, making the Florida United Lacrosse Cup one of the sport’s most attractive destinations.

In 2017, the FULC had approximately 500 teams and 7,500 athletes competing in its events. Triple Crown Sports will be fortifying the tournaments, skills camps and recruiting opportunities with help in scheduling, marketing, social media presence and customer outreach.

“When looking for a partner to help us grow lacrosse in the South, it was apparent that TCS and Keri are the perfect fit for our needs,” said Tom West, CEO of Florida United Lacrosse. “Their mission, visions and values are a direct fit with ours and will help FULC present higher quality events and showcases.”

“The best thing about FULC is the deep relationships Tom West and his staff have with the teams, staff and partners. These relationships combined with their values, are in alignment with TCS for a strong partnership,” said Keri King, Triple Crown Sports CEO. “Adding Triple Crown’s 36 years of event fundamental insight to Tom’s lacrosse passion is the combination for something dynamic and explosive. I’m very excited that Triple Crown is in lacrosse and especially with such a talented group like FULC.”

West has been able to keep a close eye on the sport and hear what coaches, players and parents are thinking about through his coaching role on the Sand Gnats Club, which fields teams from 10u into the high-school ages.

“When we started the club 15 years ago, we knew where we wanted the club to be. This partnership puts us in a great position to meet those goals,” added West.
